Nestling on the side of the valley in the village of Low Row in Swaledale, this 8 bedroomed, period country residence offers spacious accommodation for 15 people.

Built in the 1860’s to provide accommodation for the land owner and his staff, the house is in an idyllically peaceful position, facing south with magnificent views across the dale. Recent refurbishments have exposed some quirky features which add even more character to the charm and elegance of the well proportioned front rooms with their antique marble fireplaces and high cornice ceilings.

The generously proportioned rooms have been furnished in a traditional style combining luxury and comfort. The fabrics and soft furnishings have been carefully chosen to reflect the period with many designs by William Morris including the famous ‘Strawberry Thief” and  ‘Forest’.

Kickback and relax. Soak up the ambience, breath in the fresh country air, enjoy a brisk walk or a gentle stroll, the choice is yours we just provide the perfect backdrop for your ideal break.

This was our 3rd visit and we are now planning our 4th! We love the house - always clean, warm and cosy. The views from the house are beautiful. Great walks in the area and the local pub/restaurant serve great food!
